no, not yet...car just wont stop smoking. wondering if the walls got glazed using synthetic oil for the break in. if thats the case, it will have to be honed and put new rings im assuming. im friggin pissed

0.060" over from Wiseco? No dice. Their off-the-shelf "XX" rings come in 0.5mm increments.

9150XX 0.016" Over
9200XX 0.035" Over
9250XX 0.055" Over
9300XX 0.075" Over

...and so on. You can order direct off their website but they're more expensive that way.

Why did you bore it that far over? not to nitpick. but if it has to come apart again, id suggest finding a bare block and going back to stock bore and and run the stock HG also.

And like Trevor said no dice, i wonder if thats the problem? Was their a mishap on the size of the pistons causing the block to get bored wrong? Afterall ringed for .055 over but bored for .060 over might be the problem since thats not exacly a big gap in reguards to fitment but due to application, thats pretty far off.
