The 13B in all its forms is very reliable if you maintain it properly and if you understand it.

The FC RX-7 was and still is a very competitive ITS racer, and the FD RX-7 was one of the best-handling front-engined cars ever made.

In general, Mazdas are great race cars for the money. They have great suspension and steering, fairly simple and bullet-proof engines (even the rotaries), and really strong factory support. That's why, if you go to a SCCA club event, you'll probably see more Mazdas than anything else.

You have some really good points there. I guess that when i think of the rx7 i think of that damn movie and all the ricer kids that owned 'em in high school who never drove them because they were in the shop more than my TT. After a little bit of research i found that if properly maintained and tuned they can be really great track cars. I still will never own one but ill take it easier on the people that do
