Default What level of boost can I run?

I know this question has a lot of "It depends" as part of it and if my car is running "properly"...but humor me.

I'm finally getting the RPS Max Street Disc clutch installed. So along with the mods in my signtature what boost levels should I be looking to push to on pump? Granted my wideband and other gauges show good stuff, I was thinking like somewhere between 16-18psi?

16 is safe with no meth but watch your AFR's. I would look into getting some sort of Methanol injection it helps a hell of a lot.

I dont know diddly about Methanol injection....other than one rumor (or maybe its a fact), once you have Methanol injection installed you have to always run it, meaning once your out you cant even run on good ole plain petro. Im new to modding, doing it by the book.

16-18 as long as you're tuned correctly I believe.

Thanks Lawdogg

With Methanol what would be safe...I'm going to hit up the good ole search and stealth316 to see if i can read more about what this Methanol stuff is...from what I see briefly its good to have (helps control/prevent knock or something)

There is no definite answer. All what your car allows you to do. Tune it and push it as far as u can and theres your answer.

I totally agree/understand. I guess I was more curious as to what other people with similiar setups on a "decently running" vr4 are doing for PSI. I'm having ESP tune the vr4, so I should get some good numbers. They will push it as far as it will go saftley.

I see you got the ferret mod. Good for at least 1 ferret power.
