FINALLY did this on my 97VR4 and the CEL came on almost instantly, oops!

I knew it was coming though; no biggie since I don't have to pass emissions testing for another 2 years

95 stealth rt tt. did vac reduction n added mbc. Left egr on but all disconnected waitting on plates. Unable to boost above 12 psi. 8psi in 1st 2nd n 3rd. 3rd over 60m/hr will hit 12psi n in 4th 12psi. No leaks after test. Anyone know why I cant up the boost to 14.5psi. The boost controller is cranked all the way n no change.

Did anyone buy 3.5mm hose instead of 4mm? It seems all the Universal kits include 4/6/8mm thin-wall stuff, instead of the thicker hose sold by 3SX or boostcontrollers. Since the non-kits are sold by the foot, can anyone provide a better estimate of lengths of each to buy? I would hate to buy 10' of each at $2+ per foot, if I can avoid it. Thanks.

The length is going to vary a bit depending on how long you make the lines, but I don't think I used maybe 6" of the 8mm (pass side of valve cover to tee only iirc), and almost all of the 4mm or 6mm (4mm I *think*). At $30 for the kit, it will probably be roughly the same cost as going by the foot, but with the kit, you'd have some leftovers too.
