Default Upcoming inspection is compromising my sanity.

All I need to pass is the horn. I know it's the green wire. I took off the knee protector and the ONLY green wire I could find has a black stripe on it. So i grounded it and nothing happened. I assume it wasn't the horn.

The wiring underneath the knee protector is TRASH! And there is an after market steering wheel. So I'm just trying to wire in a temporary button so I can pass inspection.

What can I do to rig up to get it to work?

ANYTHING is welcome

If you are willing to go real ghetto. You can go to a parts store and buy a little aftermarket horn button and wire it in to pass the inspection then just remove it when you pass. You can buy them fairly cheap and just mount it real low out of the way so no one can see your ghettoness. It will work, but will look crappy. Just run a wire to it and then to the horn and it will work.

This is what I was going to do in the first place. But I can't find the wire for the horn! I literally grounded like 20 wires none of which were the horn. I know it was originally supposed to be in a 4-pin connector behind the steering wheel, but there aren't even any connectors besides the SRS connectors.

Well run a wire from the button up through the door jam, through the engine bay and all the way to the horn. It will only need to be there for the inspection. And I'm not positive but pretty sure that the horns wire will be hot. Most horns ground out through the horn mount so the trigger wire needs to be hot.
