okay, so i got my new transmission in late april and i love it but it has one weird thing. when starting cold after the car has been sitting and i put it into gear the rpms go up but the car barely moves. no noise and this only lasts like a second or two (so if i took it up to 3.5k after starting it and let it drop it wouldnt move but as the rpms fell it would have already started moving (like i said it only lasts a second)
Any ideas why it would do this? its so much torquier feeling then my stock trans and i really like it but im just wondering why it would do this

Clutch needs adjusting. Important to do for the tranny to last longer too. Will also improve shifting
Go to jackstransmissions.com he has pretty good video on how to do it.

its a different transmission then stock diamantes but unfortunately still automatic. Im just gonna beat the hell out of it cause i have been steadily saving for either a new engine or alot of upgrades to put on this winter and i will have to go manual by then. like i said it doesnt effect anything other than on start up, shift smooth or fast depending on how its set. |
