Arrow Total costs for NA to TT Brake Upgrade?

How much is it going to cost me to upgrade my NA to TT Brakes brand new because I'm sure it be a pain to find everything used. Ballpark figure.

*I also posted this also under Tires, Wheels, Brakes & Suspensions but looking for a quick response*

actually it will be easy to find used items on the boards... most people on the boards sale VR-4 calipers for $100-$200 +S&H. then some pads the mitsu dealership with our 25% off here has them for $30 for front and $30 for rear... all that is left is the rotors and they can be found on ebay for anywhere between $125-$250 +S&H sooo let say about $410 for everything shipped. but you can probley do better than that. that was just an estimate using the highest priced i put down with about $50 shipping on each item.

check the write up on 3sx. you will also need TT/VR4 steering knuckles if you have a Base or ES, and tie rod ends.

The stuff is easy to find used. I have a set of knuckles/hubs for sale. If you have a 91-92 n/a, you'll need driveshafts and a diff because the splines are different. Otherwise you just need knuckles/hubs, rotors, calipers, and wheels that will clear the brakes.

It cost me about $600 but I also had to figure in the cost of new wheels cuz my old ones didnt clear with out spacers. Calipers were like $300 shipped, knuckles were like $120 shipped. Shit is more heavy than anything. New pads I had because I got the wrong ones as a gift so that worked out. Tie rod ends not necessary, mine are still stock NA ones and they are fine, going on 2 years on my brake conversion. Then I had the extra expense of new wheels and tires but I was able to make good money on my old ones. O ya I also forgot SS lines are good idea when doing this but also not necessary. All together I really cost me like $400 after selling my NA brakes and rotors and hubs. Still a worth while conversion in my mine, its a huge difference in stopping plus its looks great having big brakes without spending like 2 grand.

I traded an AWD Auto trans for my VR4 brake upgrade. The only things I bought were slotted rotors, SSB lines and decent pads.

In total I paid around $350.

Sorry man wish it was that easy, the new knuckle has a place for the caliper bolts. As far as I know SOHC would fit. The rears are a direct swap in NAs as far as I know. However the fronts without those bolts you cant attach your caliper.

yes, you have to replace the knuckle if you want to change from the two piston floating caliper to the four piston TT caliper. I would replace the hub as well but thats up to you.

The '94+ TT rear brakes are not a direct bolt-on to the NA rear. I'm assumming you're talking about 2G rear brakes, since doing a 1G TT rear brake swap would be pointless.
