I wouldn't use that on the o-rings themselves. Fine for metal but I don't think it's good for rubber. I could be wrong. Silicone grease or dielectric grease for the rubber o-rings. I just went back and it looks like you put #8 in there? Way too big. I don't know why the hell people say to use that. #7 is a perfect fit and I have no TB leaks.

This is back from the dead, but Im about to do this, and was wondering if any one has compared the BISS o-ring to the T-body o-ring...if they are the same, then the exact ring could be ordered through mitsu...just a thought...maybe they are not even close (?)

BISS o-ring is much different from the shaft seals.
The BISS o-ring is just that, an o-ring. The shaft seals are metal rings that have a rubber flap that acts as a seal against the shaft. Better to just go to a hardware store and buy some viton o-rings. Home Depot #8's worked best for me on my throttle shaft. I'd think that a #6 or #7 would work for the BISS, but I can't remember correctly (been a while). The only downside is that the Home Depot rings are rubber, so they will break down over time from the oil that comes through the PCV system into the intake. It's not like rebuilding the throttle body is a huge chore, so in a year or two after the rubber rings wear out, you can replace them and clean the entire TB at the same time. Just follow a good maintenance schedule. ![]() This really should be stickied...

I made a Wikipedia entry for this, I am trying to encourage other people to use Wikipedia mores so we won't have to search for greats threads like this.
