1st & 2nd gens gas tanks are different?

I am pretty sure the tanks are all the same. I am converting my 93 R/T to 95 R/T (except for the front) found a local guy with a 95 that wants to trade me straight up.

I doubt the fuel tank is any different between 1st and 2nd gens. You definitely need the plastic shroud at the bottom, or the bumper will sag and have a huge gap

And yeah, 2G RT rears are rare, but since I did the mod in 2003, many have followed suit At least it is not as played out as the 99 front, or the growing 96 wing crowd

Of all the conversions out there like 99 front ends, 99 wings, 99 garnish, popups to projectors, etc, I would not call the 1st gen RT bumper to 2nd gen RT bumper conversion a "trend" that everyone is jumping on, lol

I can think of others that switched out to the 2nd gen RT bumper WELL before 2003. I might as well claim I started the 99 front end trend, lol. However, I was definitely one of the first people with 5zigen fn01r-c wheels before Ice888 (was that his name?) started selling them dirt cheap to everyone on 3si. At least I know I was in on the ground floor of that one, lol

This is someting I have considered doing as well. I wasn't sure that the 2g bumper would match well with the the rest of the 1g body kit. Anyone have any pics?
