Started watching the series.

I recognize Chief from Pinks when he negotiated for other cars, possibly for Flip?
I am pretty sure Flip raced a cobbled together car that went pretty quick. Not sure if he won but the car he brought was not much to lose financially. Coworker told me what happened to Flip after he had researched it since his youngest son was making him watch the show together. The little kid wants to race their Suburban cause "its weight allows it to hook" or whatever the quote was from the show. Farmtruck sure spun out bad on the 1st episode (yes I have seen the old videos online for years).

Also thought it was funny seeing Chuck lose 2 spots because he probably didn't put new tires on his small tire car...just like the racemaster suggested. Can't mess around on small tires.

Yes, Chief won a couple cars on pinks. The kicked the 405 off the show after the third one. Back then they were called Wide open Throttle not Midweststreetcars. Dave Comstock(Big Daddy Dave) Drove the car while chief did the talking. They won the wooly mammoth car and a turbo civic that they gave like 10 lengths too. LOL

And remember, its a TV show.

That's my best friend's uncle.

He didn't even realize he was going to be on it until his sister asked if he was watching it.

Yeah I saw it, I wish they wouldn't institutionalize street racing.
