Mitsubishi Stock Z3 Coupe vs. '92 VR-4 w/ BPU

Ok, so my car just got a new clutch installed about 180 miles ago, and i was telling my friend about it while giving him a ride. New Fidanza flywheel and heavier plate and exedy disk. That along with dp, intake, MBC at 14psi and a ssqv, I say my car is probs at about 350hp at the crank. Then he asks how heavy it is, and I tell him about 3800 stock, and he laughs and says his Z3 can take it.

I ask, from roll or from a dig, and he says both, he said even though he only has 250hp, since his car is lighter by about 800lbs, he said that he is faster from a launch. I tell him that i have AWD vs his RWD and he said yea, so he has the advantage there also . . . . what a silly kid, once i break in the clutch to about 400miles of stop and go traffic, I'll show him.

This coming from the guy that said a cat back would have been a better investment than a downpipe/gutted cats, and said the veyron puts 1001hp to the wheels, and that the oil in his car only needs to be changed every 30,000 miles with the servicing.

I should see if i can make some money out of this too. just thought i'd share.

Not a big fan of the Z3's, and every owner I have come across has been an ignorant tool.

yea, the whole ride I just let him run his mouth, he was so sure of himself. I never once said I thought I could beat him, that'll just make the win that much better. I'm a humble guy, no need to talk big when you got a car to do all the work.

and since hes a good friend, no need to take money off of him, a video and a huge piece if his pride is more than enough

Didn't see a FIPK mentioned in your MOD's, you probably already have it but just in case. I would think all that would give you more than just 30hp over stock.

i got a random K&N cone and an adapter off ebay, so i got intake covered, and i was thinking 350hp as a conservative guess . . . more like 370ish?
