ok im pretty sure its a bad starter for a few reasons. i did the click click start and it didnt help; same situation as before. then i tried jumping the starter with another car ('01 jeep) and i tried connecting the terminals with a screw driver. nothing. if anyone has any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

if you verified power to starter, replace it
