should be fun at the dyno AND the race!
Is he going to be taking advantage of all the power in the 6500-8000 rpms that are not on his dyno sheet?

Don't tune Tommy's settup too aggressively, you will ruin this perfectly matched race

The whole idea behind this race was to run two equally powered cars.
One with td04 and one with td05 to see which turbo held the advantage at an
equal whp. Everyone knows td05's can make more power than td04's.
Actually to really make this test work both cars need to weigh the same and
we need the same driver to run both cars.

But that is just wishfull thinking. Have fun guys!

Hey maybe Bob and Tommy can switch cars for a second race?
Just a wild idea.

Not trying to be a smartass but was that REALLY the whole idea?

I thought the idea was to see what the differently setup cars could do on a street tune with pump gas? To see how much of a difference there was between the two setups considering Bob's dyno has a TD04 coming so close to the TD05 setups. If this is the case, then I'd say the retune should safely maximize the potential of each setup to show the reality of each setup's potential.

If anyone wanted to race 2 cars of odentical power and dentical weight, then what's the point except to see who's a better driver?

I fully concur with the guys who've said the cars should weigh approximately the same. What I want to see is what each car/setup is capable of when tuned to its street potential. Will the TD04's faster spool make up for the power deficit? Will adding meth to the TD04 setup produce the same power as the e16g's on pure pump? etc.

Bingo!

Oh and both cars are stock weight, no reduction. Can probably add a few pounds as both have amps/subs, etc.
