Yes, rear seats are different.

Duttch, this doesnt answer your question either, but I put an alternator from a 92 RT/T into my 95 VR-4 spyder, the only difference was the pulley, the brackets are the same (i hope!).

Hey, do spyder rear seats fold down? And if so, I assume it would allow pass thru to the trunk ( dependent on if top is not down in the trunk)

The seats do fold down, but there is no pass-through since all the top hardware is in the way (pumps, crossbar, computer, etc.).

But there is a nice peice of netting on the back of each seat, good for keeping road atlas and other papers in... the pass side is where reach thru to the 6-disc changer...

so basically nothing can be wiggled thru at all? as in zero light goes thru? is there any pass thru with the top up, or is the hardware there regardless of top position? I never see spyders so i have no idea

Don't count on being able to pass anything through. The hydraulic fluid reservoirs are made of plastic, and they have an annoying tendency of developing leaks around the o-rings. Something flopping around back there and putting pressure on them would not be a good idea at all. There's a little space between the hydraulic/ecu cover carpet and the torsion bar for the topstack.

If you need a car that's got some cargo/storage capacity - a Spyder is absolutely, positively, not the car you are looking for.
