it's a good question. why take off the plenum IF running plats in the back and copper in the front has no negative effects?

i wouldn't do this, but would like to know if any problems would surface...

Two different metals will have different conductivity. One bank could run leaner than the other.

It takes a whopping 5 minutes to remove the plenum. Do it right or dont do it at all.

altho i doupt anybody has tried this themselves, i for one have never tried this either. but if you delete your EGR system and throttle body coolant lines you can pull ur plenum in prolly less than 10mins everytime. just my 2 cents.
