thats called carbon tracking. it happens when the spark travels down the side of the plug due to a poor seal from the plug wire. you need to replace the plug that is in the cylinder thats happening on and put new wires on. as you found out you cant just change the plugs. if you put a new wire set on without replacing the plug it will happen again and the plug wire will be toast again.

Sure would explain a lot though... but what i don't get though is that since i had the injectors cleaned and replaced the damaged plug, everything's been going fine. I'm using the same old wires. Like i said before it's been well above 500 miles since that happened. |
