I get average 21-24 in my VR-4 but freeway I get 28-30 (tested 100 mile trip filled before leaving and filled right when I got off. 100 miles on 3.1 gallons).

Edit: Use AMS oil 10W-40 and I Put in P.T.F.E impact additive (its teflon (Polytetrafluoroethylene) coating for the engine) put that in transfer case rear dif and engine. PM me if you interested I have it available.

That is pretty good. To be honest, I only put 150 miles on my car since I got it (last week)...I guess Ill have to do a more accurate test of the mpg.

Although i doubt the 30-35mpg ,you would be amazed at how much better your MPG will be if you just changed your driving style. i get about 23-25mpg just casually driving around.

Unless that's with strictly city driving then there's definitely something wrong. Most VR4's get around mid to high 20's on the highway assuming that you stay out of boost.
