FWIW with my car, even at 15psi, anthing more than 20-21 degrees advance at 5000RPM is knock city.

edit: I guess 10-11 degrees since the hybrid logger reports timing 10 degrees advanced

uhg, I guess I'll have to actually get the palm out. I've just been using the logs from my EMU and retarding timing when it knocks or add fuel.

Methanol injection or higher octane,

has everything to do with knock resistance.

With my 13t's I need to throw some e85 in there to run more than 16.5 psi and thats with the 93 octane around Nashville TN with already has a fair bit of ethanol mixed in it to raise the octane level to 93 in the first place.

I havent been able to drive my car yet. Im currently in Iraq and will be returning to the states in Nov. I m stationed out in Fort Bragg, NC but my car is in Iowa right now. While I was out here I had the car tuned. Here is a list of mods and the end product was 401HP@ 19PSI on pump. I have a link to the video as well. Rev Hard Inc was the shop that tuned my car. Its hard to see the dyno sheet, but here is the list of mods

Forged Bottom End
weisco piston 8.5:1
3sx rods
stock heads with ips 264 cams
Fidanza Adj. Cam Gears
CX Racing FMIC
Dejon Intake Pipes "blow through"
13T turbos
Cheap ebay headers "only the front one is on lol the rear one wont fit" i know need to fix this"
Downpipe, Full Cat Back exhaust IPS quad tips
AEM with all the sensors
660cc Injectors
Walbro 255 feul pump "hotwire"
Fidazna Alum. Flywheel
Southbend DXD stage 4 clutch

those are my major mods. below is the video on the dyno they sent me. They tell me the car runs awesome and pulls hard. Only issue is they say first 4 or 5 minutes of starting the car when its not warmed up it stutters a bit but after that idles just fine. Currently the car is in the paint shop getting new black paint. Should be done in the next 2wks. Cant wait for pictures.

I have no idea what they did they just told me they worked on it and tuned it for me. The major work was done by a member of 3si. nodoze so once I find more i'll post it up on this thread.

well im not for sure, but the shop told me no issues the tune is safe and I can drive it everyday. only problem they told me was the start up but after 5 minutes of warm up it is fine after that. i'll find out more information once I get the car from the shop when I come back from iraq.

oh and i just use regular premium 93 octane. I choose not to run 93 octane 10% ethanol just because it burns quicker and a tank of gas dosent last as long with ethanol.
