Once again it's a 91 R/T, has a few mods and customizations. Exhaust, intake, sound system.

It's been sitting for over a year and definitely needs a little TLC maintenance. It has only 60-80 thousand miles on it (rough estimate, I'll double check).

I offered him 3 grand for it, since top condition on KBB was ~$4000. He said 3500, which I'm probably going to take.
How does that sound as a rough estimate for the car's worth?

You can take my word for it that it is at MINIMUM in 'Good' condition (will be about 'Excellent' when I'm through with it). $3500 sound ok?

Also, ASSUME that if it's at 60,000 miles that the 60k has been done, because whether or not it has been our father is a mechanic and it basically wouldn't cost either of us anything (labor wise) as we'd do it ourselves with his assistance.

EDIT: I just realized that a 60k package will run over $300 for just the parts... Still, assume it is done on the car, since I'm about 95% sure it is.

So I've heard. He just ran into a few problems with the Stealth and gave up on it.

But anyway, how about how much I'm paying (see my previous post). Seem reasonable?

And I was just about to search this but, I read about people getting way better gas mileage than the quoted 18/24 on kbb.com, what should I expect? I only get ~16-18 in the VR4, but that's with fairly hard driving.

We really need more info to list our est. value of the car. It is hard enough not seeing it much less not knowing important info on it... Pics & car history are helpful too.

My NA gets between 24 and 28 MPG. 90% city miles. Completely stock. Driven easy & for sale!

24 and 28? Damn... I wasn't expecting it to be that good. Why the heck does kbb say 18/24... Of coarse it says the same for the TT model....

Forget the "does that seem like a good price?" I asked earlier. Based on my knowledge of the car and my research I'd say $3500 is fair so that's what I'm going to go with.
