Default So I am looking around on craigslist...and i find this guy....

Im sorry, I know i just joined and have only posted in the "introduction section". For those of you wondering I am currently looking at buying a VR4, but am paying for it by parting out my previous build (04 Neon SRT-4).

So I search surrounding states looking for one for sale... Then I find this guy... I dont intend to put a response on craigslist or anything (i find that just dumb when people do that anyways), I just found it kind of funny how gullible he is, or gullible some people are. Or maybe I am wrong (I am a professional mechanic), and this could be the first VR4 to ever go 190 or 200+ without transmission, or ecu modification?

LOL and another part that is awesome is where he put "This is the cheapest one around it won't be for sale much longer!", for $8000 with hail damage, 160k+???

Theres more but im going to stop meow (just needed to vent a bit haha)... I just had to let other people see this who may find it humorous, or irritating (i got a little bit of both lol).

But good day to you all.

First, sorry no trades. Also the cash price for title in hand is FIRM, thanks for understanding.

1993 3000GT VR4
Artic Pearl White

Best car I have owned or will ever own hands down, I will be sad to part with it.

All Wheel Drive AWD, All Wheel Steering AWS, ABS, Leather, Electronic controlled suspension (ECS), Active aerodynamics, Active Exhaust, MORE!
Touch screen dvd player w/ pioneer speakers will be included with the car!

LOTS of Brand new parts (Under 2k miles on them) since 1/2012 including:
Pulstar Iridium Spark Plugs [Around $20 each x6)]
10mm OML wires
Accel lifetime racing air filter
F1 Racing Lightweight Flywheel
Stage 2 Racing clutch
Clutch throw-out bearing
Racing radiator cap
Outer tie rod ends and inner tie rod boots in front
PCV valve
Fuel Filter
Clutch Slave
Clutch fork
Clutch pivot ball
New transmission fluid (Lucas)
New rear diff fluid
New Transfer Case fluid (Lucas)
4 Polyurethane full race engine transmission mounts (Factory 60 hardness, these are 95)
I'm sure there are parts I've changed that I'm missing also.
Restrictor plug removed from turbo waste gate solenoid

Other modifications done prior to my ownership:

Racing Thermostat
Apexi BOV
Main Cat/resonator removed

This was modified with TLC by the Chief mechanic of Too Fast Customs.
Chief is the best mechanic I've seen and says it will go 200+mph top speed now.
I could tell this was no joke by the 180mph spedo and the previous owner reporting 190+top before all my new parts.
I'm not that dumb to test it or run it that hard, good for you I'm sure, I've gone really easy on it.

The rear brake calipers were changed to the 94+ model calipers (2 total more brake pistons)
This car stops on a dime with 12 total brake pistons.
Electronic controlled suspension works great.

Engine does not leak or burn any oil.
Have been over this car top to bottom and it is sound and solid.
Very reliable car, put 10k on this one and it's my DD, never left me anywhere ever.
Slight hail damage should be easy to remove. Minor things here and there but in overall excellent condition.
People keep asking me if it's a brand new car on first glance.
Approx. 160k miles, these are known to go to 320k+miles.
These are rare, very fast, very fun cars.
This is the cheapest one around it won't be for sale much longer!
****Sale pending for asking price.****
However, I will entertain same and higher bids on a first come/highest bid basis for a little longer.

Yeah, There's a guy around here that has a 91 stealth RT/TT with 225k miles, needs a clutch and has to be towed home.. He told me he has an offer for $3700.. I told him to sell it so damn fast he'll break his neck, because that's a once in an ever offer for that car.. The interior is beat, exterior is OK at best..

At this rate I should be able to make about $105k on my car.

WTF is a racing thermostat? does it open from being fully closed in under 3 seconds? Why would you entertain same money bids unless you really don't have them currently?

LMAO, All I can think is "Why the hell havent i ever brought my car to "Too Fast Customs"?? I mean this guy must be like magician of mechanics. Some dumbshit kid is gonna buy this thing, and wrap it around a pole trying to get it to 200... but then again the hail damage may add more aerodynamics that allows it to go faster.

Heres the link (I thought I put it in the post... But i guess not), the picture of this guy looking like a redneck model, leaning over the hood is PRICELESS. LMAO

These cars are geared for that speed and ECU modification has nothing to do with it either. It's turbo's, heads and stuff like that.

Well if its already geared for that, it would still need ECU mods, or at least a piggy back to get there (lift the electric limiter, raise the redline things like this), if im not mistaken?

I dont see why you would think the turbos have anything to do with it, they have nothing to do with top end speed. The heads yes, but the only reason they would is you would probably want to build them before you raise the redline.
