Default shipping from canada??

does anybody have any idea how long it takes to ship things form canada, a member shipped me something from canada, he is only about 400 miles from my location and he shipped it on august 28th and it still hasnt arrived?

Yeah, if he shipped it with anyone reputable, there should be a tracking number.

it takes up to 2 weeks almost. i have sent items USPS and 2 weeks it took. has to go through customs.

it went through canadapost and i have a tracking number but as far as i can tell it has traveled about 40 miles and has been sitting at the same facility since the 28th of august....

Problem with tracking numbers is they don't tell you exactly where it is, only where it was last.

I was told if we use Purolator they have a system that cannot track the package once it leaves Canada. FedEx and Canada post should be fine though.

It truely depends on customs. In an ideal world it would take 1-2 days to get to the border and then one or two days to get to you. Realistically, especially on the US side with more strict inspections etc it could take longer.

Ofcourse I have shipped things which arrived very quickly and recieved parcels from the states quickly after having paid for them.
