Default Royal Purple Oil

what is the best kind of RP to use on a stock 1994 3000GT base model, that will eventually get upgrades in a few months?I have lifter tick and im hoping getting better will take care of it, if temporarily...

look up wickeddrews lifter tick fix. Worked for me.

i had a 94 sl that I did the twin turbo conversion on - lifter tick was solved using royal purple...but then came back. Its great oil and will help but I would throw in some larger diameter/3rd gen lifters.

When I switched over to royal purple in my base, the next morning when I started up the car, the lifter tick magically went away...
