Side note, when the mas sensor is removed the car will idle fine at 1500 rpm, when the accelerator is pushed it will make a popping noise. If the mas sensor is left plugged in it will idle rough then finally choke. Im guessing its still a boost leak since i cant keep 12-15 lbs in the system with the pressure tester. Also when the mas sensor was unplugged and the car was revved it kicked back some gas or oil.

No, not yet, no one really gave me a definitive answer as of yet, i bought a smoker but havent found the time to diagnose it, i was thinking about just shelling out a few hundred or more to someone here on the forums with experience in running down boost leaks and maybe replacing my tb. Open to suggestions

You might be missing a bracket or something that held a plug in place, but you are not missing anything critical. Did you remove the adapter harness between the plugs and your ecu? That will probably fix most of your problems.

My son and I discovered last night that his was on backwards and his idle was all over the map (but mostly high). [we've had his plenum off at least a dozen times and somehow we must have switched it last time and didn't see it]. Bob
