i will be doing them at my school since i get free access to all tools and everything needed including teacher help. so i will make sure i have my performance teacher(he builds professionaly 1/4 mile race cars) to take a look when im finished just as another set of eyes. or if i cant get the motor down there my garage it is and maybe ill see if i can get one of the local people(struggly, twintrubokid) to come take a look.
thanks for the help and quick responses

SOoo do you know something that we dont know about these parts and balancing? Sure its always NICE when blueprinting an engine to have it balanced, but swapping OEM parts shouldnt have any effect even if it is a different year crank.

Inquiring minds need to know.

the difference in weight may throw off the center line. the OEM crank is built specific for the internals and by matching up a crank not meant for your internals(especially ones that are worn) it will not be evenly weighed for each journal. the counter weights are specific for each journal and the newr crank may have different weight inits counterweights... theres alot more to it but that was my 5 second help

Given that its an OEM part it MIGHT work, but thats a big risk to take when spending 800 on a crank and over 2500 on your engine. When messing with something as big as a crank then you get it balanced, thats basic stuff. If you want to gamble with your engine and try to save a little money then have at it but its not the correct thing to do.
