what? LS1 RX7's make great track cars, the LS1 actually weighs a little bit less then a 13b

I was thinking about doing this for a long time, but after I put my cage in it made the idea a lost cause. I don't think weight would be a problem at all. If anythink you would be spreading out weight compared to a fwd 3s. Stock the rear seats and fuel tank are all the weight the rear has, the front has everything. In a rear engine, the engine/trans are over the rear tires instead of the front, but you still have the battery, radiator, ac condensor, rack an added fuel tank and when I was looking into doing it an air/water heat exchanger/water tank. The reason I don't like the idea is the front of the 3s is very large, it just looks like the engine belongs there.

With you on that. Same concept as the Ferrari 599 GTB and the new Nissan GT-R.

I got a little excited when I saw the title of this thread because I have often wondered about it. I was hoping someone had done it or was trying to do it.
