Radio being strange. Power problems?

Okay, its basically started a few days ago. I pulled out the radio to unplug the "open door" sound device. I didnt do anything else that I knew of, but now if I turn up the radio it seems to fade out like its wanting to turn off. It never used to before, so maybe I pulled on some wires or something?
Maybe its the battery?
