Default Question about license plate screws

For the rear license plate, what size screws hold it on? And can I just buy them from a hardware store or are they car-specific or something? I got my new plates in the mail yesterday and noticed that I only have 1 screw and its rusty. The car is a '95 SL if it matters.

Can you take that screw to the hardware store and find something like it?

Autozone sells them, they are all the same size, and they have a allen wrench key so your plates can't be stolen... well unless someone else bought the same kit to get the key
