Default Question about aeromotive FPR. -6 or -10?

Hey guys,

I want to mount an aeromotive FPR on the firewall and run a braided line to it. My fuel loop is a -8.... but when I go check the aeromotive size they are either -6 or -10. Looks like i'll have to buy a new fitting. Which one?

thanks

All kinds of adapters on there. I'd run -6, if it was me.

You should be fine with -6

Well I already have -8 swivel fittings and hose, so I'll stick with that AN size. Thanks for those links Ryan, I'm going to buy the -10 FPR and get a -10 to -8 reducer.

OK i have another question.

It has dual inlet ports. Do I have to use both or can I cap one?

Also, how big is the stock return nipple? is 1/4" good?

Slage got a question here.

Your feed line into the Aeromotive FPR - AN S/S line all the way under the car? Or do you have some AN fitting out of the fuel filter?

I was trying to take a pic of my engine bay but it was covered in spider webs

When I get home i'll clean her up and show you guys my ideas. Since I don't have a battery in the engine bay theres some room for custom mounts for the FPR and alchy pump. I'll have to get a little creative though... hope things won't look too ghetto I also have a 98/99 coolant reservoir to add to the whole mix, which would clear up space for mounting an oil catch can

Basically all it is right now is stock fuel filter and feed line, stock fuel lines, Erron's AN fittings, and a braided -8 fuel loop. I want to have -8AN braided lines running to/from the fuel rails. The return line will stay stock after the FPR. And the feed line will be stock up to the fuel filter.... if that makes sense

heres a visual of what I want to do

Walbro 255 >> Stock Feed Line >> Stock Fuel Filter with AN fitting >> -8 braided feed line >> Stock fuel rail with AN fittings (front) >> -8 braided fuel loop >> Stock fuel rail with AN fittings (rear) >> -8 braided return line >> Aeromotive FPR with 1/4" barb fitting >> Stock rubber return line

Sweet thanks. I didn't know you could put an AN fitting in the stock fuel filter. What kind of fitting is it?

I ask because I'm pricing out the AN & aeromotive setup vs. the AEM honda w/ adapter setup.
