![]() I could have tuned out that hiccup at 5400 but that was my last pull and the only one I made at that boost level. I'm not BS'ing about my car pulling smoothly without an ignition amp. ![]()

hey trevor maybe you can help me out....my car seems to be making alot of power but at the track i can only manage a 13.3 at 108mph..with all my mods i figured i could have run better...granted my 60ft time is a 2.0 what do you think i could do to make it faster..i have been running 110 leaded on those runs with 20lbs of boost..no knock..except 3 random counts, on the street i seem to be a monster but i just cant seem to pull mid 12's to low 12's like i figured..considering people have runs faster times with stock turbos and mods similiar to mine..just wondering if you could give me some insight..thanks

Just keep fighting it, it only requires around 23psi a ton of mods, and some nitrous to finally clip an 11 I sure hope this set of guys has a solution to this.

Things that jump out at me: - 110 leaded : all the stuff in that octane range is designed for for bracket racing V-8's. My car always ran like poo on it. No knock...but it wasn't responsive or even all that powerful. Find some VP C16. It's very high octane but besides it being a hair more heasitant to start you really can't tell its in there while behind the wheel. The car will stay decently peppy and you can run a buttload of boost without knock. - Is your base timing correct? If you don't know for sure then verify it. - On the same lines is your cam timing spot on? - What AFR have you been tuning to? I've had good results at 12.3 (+/- 0.2) on C16. |
