lol... sorry if you think Prosports are as good/reliable as high quality Japanese gauges I don't know what planet you're living on. I've had Greddys on my car for years, never a single problem except now my EGT sensor is on the way out so the gauge is freaking out. Buying a $50 gauge and saying "The $200-300 gauge is just a name! It's not better!" - you're kidding yourself.

how long has prosport been out? what about greddy/defi? im willing to bet theres more greddys and defis out there.
last i checked we had VERY FEW complaints about gauges not working before prosport but now once these prosport things start selling they pop up. coincidence? i think not.
Of course they aren't going to be as reliable as a $200-300 gauge. I thought that was a given?
I'm not sure who posted on here that they were just as good as a Defi or greddy?
I never meant to say anything like that. If you have the dough, get the $200 oil pressure gauge or whatever it costs.
It just doesn't make much sense to me to automatically assume a part is bad before even making a diagnoses.
Same thing with everyone with automatically says an autometer gauge is garbage because 2 people they have ever known has had one go bad. Funny, when you talk to any domestic guys they don't have the same feelings that only defi or greddy can make a gauge.

autometer markets to the domestic guys so of course theyre gonna think they are good. much like fram.
ive personally seen 2-5 psi difference between autometer gauges on the same car when doing a test for my own peace of mind.
What do you expect from a cheap product? Cheap product, means cheaper materials, means less likely to work all the time, or have the longevity of other products. It's like those cheap Chinese knock off manifolds that produce shitty power, and end up cracking.
Spend the money on the right product the first time around, so you don't have to spend it again, and worry about being dicked around getting your money back (if at all possible).
