Default Prosport Oil Gauge going nuts?

Anyone else have their Electronic ProSport gauge going nuts? Mines jumping between 80-100 psi and down to 0 then all over the place. What could be causing this?

The gauge defaults to 100psi if the sensor is not connected. Check wiring.

Yeah mine worked fine and then it starts to behave like that after a rainy day. I notice if I put thinner oil like 10w30 it will always be at 100psi, after switch to the heavier 15w40 it start behaving "somewhat" normal again.

I think the problem might be the sensor is not of the best quality tho...

no, people need to double check their wiring before jumping to conclusions.

The gauge will read 100PSI if you unhook the sending wire or attach it to ground. He probably has the wire rubbing on something and it is wearing in two or grounding out.
