3/S looks and sounds better. Everything else is handily in the Evo's favor.

Pros: 1. Evos have tons of potential.
2. Very fast even in stock form.
3. Excellent handling.
4. Not important to everyone, but you can seat more than one passenger comfortably which can be nice at times.

Cons: 1. Have really bad turbo lag(Although I personally find turbo lag kinda fun sometimes, I like that sudden surge of power.)
2. Gas milleage sucks on the freeway when you are going 80 your rpms will be at about 4k, where the 3000gt would be at 3k going 100.

That's like asking which is better, running shoes or ice skates - what will you be using this car for? Depending on the use, the benefits of one platform might outweigh the other.

Stock Evo won't put you in you seat at full throttle. A stock VR4/TT will.
