I appreciate it man. Yea I'm gonna try to let pictures and videos do alot of the talking in this thread.

I'm a little sad that not too much has been done because I don't think it will be ready in time for my B-Day. It isn't their fault though, as stated above, nothing has gone smoothly at all. Atleast I have all the parts so that it is just massive amounts of labor that are required haha. They porting of the heads may be done by the end of the week so hopefully I will have the pics of the results shortly.

Thanks Dee. You are the man bro! Did you get my message the other day. Anyway hit me up on the phone when you get a chance. I also want to say thanks for all your help and advice. It really does mean alot and has helped me out a bunch.

Oh as a little mini-update, it looks like I MAY get my car back sooner than I originally thought. I told the guys at P.C.M not to worry about porting and polishing my heads. While it was an excellent deal, it would have taken 15+ hours of labor to complete. Instead, I told them to just go ahead and clean them, reassemble them, assemble the block and fix and assemble the transmission. Once those things are done we can just put everything together and drop it back in the car. I know I won't make as much power with completely stock heads but at this point, I just want my car back, whatever I make, I am sure that it will be MORE than enough. Getting the car back is the number one priority. Well, I will hopefully have an update relatively soon. Stay tuned!

I went up to the shop yesterday and saw my block. The crank is in and the new pistons and fitted to the rods and everything looks sick. The only bad part is that the rod bearings I have are not the right size so some new ones are being ordered. Kyle up at PCM told me that they have a bunch of pics and once the shortblock is complete, he will post em all up.

Also, it looks like my transmission will be rebuilt in the next couple days. The heads have been cleaned up and reassembled and will be ready to drop on the block as soon as we get those new bearings. All in all it looks like the engine and transmission will be ready to drop in in about 1 week!!! YAY!!!

We may meet the July 17th Deadline after all...

Lol naw the machine shop(some guys out in the boonies) took about 2 months to fix up my block. These guys(PCM) outsource for the machining then put everything together ofcourse. You can get anybody to move fast if you start paying what you owe hahaha.

Yea I've known the main mechanic for about a year now. He's really good at what he does and always pays attention to detail which is something that I really appreciate. Yea I can't wait for the day when I can just sit down it her again haha.
