Default Project Nemesis - 6G74 GT42RS Build thread

Well not so much of a build thread while in progress as it has been done for 2 years but I have loads of pics from start to finish so I will add them in here as I have had a number of people asking for various pics/info over the last few months.

Here is a little over view of the car as it is now.
Got fed up with iMovie so it isn't perfectly edited (The 2009 version sucks! Doesn't even let you edit the sound track volume in specific sections  )

Anyway, comments are welcome:

The 6G74 conversion was completed in May 2007 but I never did much with it as I was chasing oil leaks and in the end found it to be a porous weld on the sump so I pulled it off.
I then decided to check the big end shells and noticed some odd marks on them (Serdi think it was fuel or water in the oil) so I stripped it down and until recently I just have not had much interest in putting it back together!

It should be fully run in by the end of this weekend then I am going to go for the big numbers with Max boost, Race gas then a bit of NOS to help things along.

Mark

I've been waiting for this thread for a long time. I want to build a 3.6/3.7l for my gt42 after I max out the 3.1, which will probably be a few years. But I'm going to start building the engine soon. I cant wait to see what it does full tilt. Yours and Trevors build is my inspiration. So what GT42 are you running?? I know its the GT42rs, but is that the GT4276, GT4280, or is it a GT4202 on steroids??
