The thing with maroon is it can look really blah or completely stunning. Mine is the one on the left. It's ok, painted it myself and needs a little more massaging to get it the way I want. The one on the right is eyeluvmy3kgt's. It is possibly the most beautful 3s I've ever seen. There's a thread somewhere on how he got it this good at Maaco. After seeing his I would never think about any other color.

hey guys...big night tonight. Shes gutted of her heart. Feels good to have it out. I have been wanting to do this for a few weeks now and just got to it. Fork lift made life easy. It came out pretty easy. I will have it on the stand tomarrow. I was happy to find that I have a 25 spline x case and tranny. I cant wait to see whats in it for a clutch...felt like a beast when it was together.

Hey get out of there

Looks like you just dove right into it. I've taken out everything to rebuild/renew from the windshield forward except the motor. Hope you keep it maroon (katana pearl red/marocoo pearl read) I plan on finding a motor to rebuild to drop in with some 15gs, 13Ts or DR500 later.

Nice progress! That should be a nice car by the time you're finished with it. As for the color, it's obviously your car and your decision, but that Morocco Pearl Red looks like a very nice color when it's freshly applied.

you guys are making my decision so hard on the paint....everyone seems to like the pearl red but something in my mind says its too dark or I keep imagining the blue on the car. ugh i dont know...ill focus on 400whp on pump for now i suppose...i think im going for 13t's but im not sure how easy my goal will be with them. Might need meth injection which i know nothing about as of now.

Having the engine out when changing out your motor mounts will be a great big advantage. It so much easier.

good find on the car! very nice.
