Default a problem after another

last night i raced a sti an, i didnt win. car wouldnt accelerate past 5500, today i was thinkin maybe theres a leak so i ran another pressure test an found 2 leaks, one on the intake for the front turbo an the other from the coupler on the throttle body. i tightened it test it again, found one really small leak an the front pcv hose. after i had put everything back together an started the car an i revved it, it looked a lot better than before, better throttle response but i couldnt rev past 5000 without hearing a huge air leak or something. the thing is that i was parked when i did this an the boost gauge said i was hitting 14psi(stock gauge), it shouldnt be hitting that, so i took it for a ride an i can barely accelerate. i thought maybe my bov is messed up so i took it apart again an still no air leak. im running out of ideas, ill try to get a video up tonight or something of how its reacting. please someone help me thanks

ps. that sti got lucky i had to short shift all the way haha i beat it on the launch easily. 3rd gear killed me though oh well another day

1) Don't use the stock guage. Its worthless.
2) How much boost are you trying to run?
3) How many miles are on the plugs and wires? How much gap?
4) Stock BOV? Its possible your BOV isn't holding boost.
5) Do you have a logger to watch knock? The engine might be pulling timing.

When you say your car won't accelerate past 5,500 rpm, do you mean that th engine continues to rev smoothly but you start losing power? Or does the engine just start stuttering after 5,500 rpm?

Its probably not a problem as long if you didn't beat on it.

4) stock bov
5) no i do not have a logger to watch knock, i never really thought too much of it i think i should get one though, how much do one go for anyways?

Make sure the line running off the driver's side of the plenum is installed correctly. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but there is an arrow on it pointing to the engine.

theres one thats closes to the firewall that has the arrow, it had a leak, i replaced it with a pcv hose an found out i couldnt do that so i put the old one back in (luckily i saved it) and i think i fixed the leak too, i took a look at the hose you were talkin about, was it the on that is from the right side of the plenum? if so it does have the arrow.

Does fuel cut off at 5500 ? If so check to see that your waste gate hoses are run correctly.
