Think I'm the second owner of one of Ray's strokers. Almost complete, another week or two I'm guessing.

WTF was I thinking!

Not yet, I know of a LOT of people that were "Serious" about starting a swap but most of these people have not done anything in over a year.

Buy something 6G74 and I will add you to the in-progress list

Is that a stroked 6G72 or a 6G74?

It looks AWESOME!

John

xwire did my swap in July of 06, and before that, he had done the swap in his own DD vr4. He now has a 3.5L with TD05's in his new DD, and then he put a 3.5 in Bill Buell's car.

The most recent swap he did was a 3.5L in CreativeV6's 96 NA.

When I went to the ECG in 07, everyone there was freaking out over my engine, and I was like...I don't understand, Xwire has done like a million of these already!?

He has a black 1st gen with the 3.5 and TD05's as his DD right now. The previous 3.5 he had was in a white 1st gen running 9b's. That car had alot of problems, and his block had a crack on the oil return, which he found when swapping the block into his black car.

So in STL, we have 4 3.5L cars rolling around all the time. When I was still a newb, I had no idea it wasn't a common thing, since I saw them all the time!
