I never did a direct comparison with my current car (it was down long enough beforehand that I hardly remembered stock pedal feel at all once I got it back together and put these brake lines in). But compared to what I remember of my first 3/S (a TT with disabled ABS) and what I've experienced driving stock 3/S's recently, my pedal is definitely better. I'm not quite sure how I would describe it except to say it's more direct.

And, of course, I imagine some of it is in my head.

recomend putting a little oil to install seals

All the lines were less than $40 with my good buddy discount. However the rebuild kit was $50 or so. Let me know if you need anything.

Hey man not a problem. It took me and my parts guy at the dealership 1 1/2 hours working with CAPS to get the right ones. Glad I could help!

Thanks for posting this guys... I've got the engine and trans out now and will be deleting my ABS before putting everything back together.

So far, I'm the only other person to have done one of these modifications. I don't have many pics, but we did ours more-or-less concurrently, and using most of the same routing. I might be able to dig up a couple pics of my car that would enhance what Clint has already posted.

It's not that bad of a job even with the engine in the car. When Chris (Multiades) did his delete, his engine was in, and when we did another delete on Henry Cipolla's car (HenryC) that retained the stock prop. valve, we had the engine in the car.

bump for a great thread....

so my brake pedal was going to the floor but brakes still worked....i replaced my master and they work but still feel not as tight....if i pump them once my brakes are tighter....if its my abs would disconnecting the abs fuse prove this theory? and if i disconnect it and reconnect it will it work again?

Doesn't your datalogger disable the ABS anyway?
