Re: Pics of full ABS delete: Custom lines and Wilwood prop valve in center console
Looks great. I did mine a couple of months ago. I used a Stock non-abs Prop. valve and ordered the stock brake lines from Mitsu. I didn't want to mess with bending my own or having to worry about my own flaring. Was easy but its good to see another way to do it.

Oh and my ABS did cause a wreck. I took out 4 other cars when it gave..... Thank goodness for the crashbar!

I'd be interested in this also, I have mine disabled through the computer right now, but it seems stupid to keep all the extra stuff when I'm not even using it.

I'm going to do a full writeup on this fairly soon. For now, here's a general parts list:
Prop valve: $40
90/10 copper-nickel line: $120 (60 bucks per coil and you need just a little more than one to complete the car. Plus, it's good to have extra in case you screw up a line.)
Fittings: 2 tees at $30 each (these tees have an eyelet so you can bolt them to the car)
1 or 2 unions at $20 each (I think)
8 M8x1.25 inverted flare line ends: usual price for these
8-10 M8x1.25 bubble flare ends: usual price
Total for fittings was about 150 bucks I think.
Flaring tool rental: $50 dollars a week. Shouldn't need more than a day or two.
Miscellaneous L-brackets (to mount prop valve) and clamps to retain lines: 10 bucks
Total, depending on where you source fittings (I probably overpaid some for mine), should be around 350 bucks.
Clint

Re: Pics of full ABS delete: Custom lines and Wilwood prop valve in center console
Very nice 2 of my friends and I did this to my friends 93 LS1 RX7 with the same prop valve and 90/10 line, that stuff kicks ass! Unfortunately we tried getting away with a shitty flaring tool my friend had (it did double inverted flares, but apparently not good enough) and had a lot of leaks, so we took all the lines to a brake shop and had them flare them to be safe, then we shaped them and installed it all. I need to make a trip back by his house again soon (he has about half of my tools over there ) and I'll get some pics, that car is so badass

Originally I had thought I could get away with a crappy flaring tool, but there's simply no way to make clean inverted flares. With the bench tool, they come out perfect almost every time. If I was doing this job more often, I'd buy one.

Even with the abs system completely disabled via all the fuses?

Yeah. Here are all the parts you need from the dealer. Only thing else you need is a prop. valve from an ES model....Its the one with 6 ports on it instead of 4.
The following parts are needed:
MB618846 x1ea - Line from MS to PV
MB618849 x1ea - Line from MS to PV
MB618840 x1ea - Line from PV to RH
MB618843 x1ea - Line from PV to LH <--this one was a royal pain!
MB857842 x1ea - Master Cylinder rebuild kit
MB238309 x2 - Master Cylinder to resivor seals <--also a pain, def
recomend putting a little oil to install seals
All the lines were less than $40 with my good buddy discount. However the rebuild kit was $50 or so. Let me know if you need anything.
