yes it is, and no, it has 13t's on it. 650's were damaged.

back on track - if anyone has something to add to this, i'd love this to be as some sort of a guide to help new owners guide themselves in the right direction so feel free to add!

Hey Eugene. Can you fly out here and finish up my 1300 hp car? I have plenty of brake cleaner stocked up. Thanks.

I agree 100% with that whole thing, Eugene. Will also add that 99% of people spend entirely too much time/money improving the car instead of improving the driver.

As for my car, a modest 400whp is all I have planned for it (once my driving is up to it). I'm not adding anything anytime real soon, but basic 13T, FMIC, fuel, etc. is in the works.

400whp isn't "internet fast", but I have yet to see an actual driving event take place on the internet. I'd rather enjoy the drive than have a faster e-penis on the www.

Sage wisdom from someone so young. I learned a long time ago that I needed to always have a "second" car that 1) I didn't mind working on, 2) Was within my budget to fix / modify, 3) I didn't have to drive to work in on Monday, 4) Did I say I didn't mind working on? My primary driver I keep stock and under warrenty. That way if it breaks someone else can fix it.

I found this formula has eliminated the frustration cars can bring. Case in point, when I was rebuilding the suspension on the TT this summer I broke a bolt off in the box beam. If I had to drive it to work I would have been screwed or forced to do a half assed repair. As it was I took my time (4 months) and came up with a fix that was permanent and clean.

Ask anyone who has been modifying cars for a while, you will find most will agree with me.

Good write up Russian. I know I followed your path (see sig) I'm to the point of just parting it all. Because now I have realized its easier/better just to get a 3.5 swapped with a nice single and be done with it. Granted it will be FWD but if I pick a GT42 or slightly smaller turbo it will be about what I want and still be fun to drive.

Also 500whp = ENOUGH it spanks alot of cars, heck im probably more 450awhp and it still beats alot around me and its plenty fast.

It's a philosphy that holds true in many areas of life. More is not always better, bigger is not always better. For those who just don't get it, maybe a picture will be worth a thousand words
