Default passenger window not working

well my passenger window only works on the passenger side button. it still rolls up and down, but i have to reach over and push the passenger side button. so its not the motor. but outside of stereos i have no electrical experience. any ideas on where to start? or what my problem is

I would test the driver's side switch if you have the manual or access to one. It's been a while since I had the stuff apart, but I think the wiring goes from the driver's switch to the passenger to the motor, but don't quote me. If it's not the switch then check the continuity of the wires going from the driver's side to the passenger's side.

My car's window didn't work at all and ended up being cut/corroded wires in the driver's door jam, just for future reference.

Good luck!

Did you ever get it working? Mine's been doing this for a while now, exact same thing. I think it's the switch contacts because before it stopped completely I use to be able to hit the switch 3-4 times then it would work.
