Re: Part # Help Thread! If you have CAPS, help someone out!
Any body know thepart number for the rubber access cover over the opening in the inner drivers front wheelwell that allows you to turn the engine by hand (wrench) to advance the cams and change the lifters? My dog chewed mine, and I need to replace it.
Re: Part # Help Thread! If you have CAPS, help someone out!
Does anybody have a 2nd gen VIN or the caps codes I can plug in to caps so I can get 2nd gen part numbers? I'm in the process of a 4bolt conversion and it'd make it alot easier if I could go to the dealer with the part number I need rather than having to rely on them (they've screwed up my order countless times).

No need to do that, I never put my vid in.
Open CAPS, Double-click the white area next to Model, a "Vehicle Name Code Section" dialog box opens, Double-Click #16 - OK....Another box opens, Double_click #3 for 3000/4WD/4WS or what ever one you want to look up.
