How long ago was that? I'll add it to the total count but would like as much information as possible about where, when etc. if you or he know anything more.

Thanks.

Signifcant milestone reached (good to know for any 3S owner)

50 members of the 1999 VR-4 Registry

You can check the updated chart with in the library for the specifics. But what defines a "member" is someone I have personally contacted. Not sightings, totalled cars, ebay, or autotrader listings, but actual confirmed owners.

This completely disproves ANY suggestion that there were only 45 99 VR-4s ever made. Pictures being uploaded soon.

Jon

Now this is way cool, something that was requested way back when in the early days of 3si is now come to realization.

Like the others have asked, I wonder how many have made it to the crusher and refurbished as nails, chain link fence, furniture mounting hardware, etc.

Excellent work for such a short amount of time!

Have you guys come across a white 99 VR4 is Nashua NH or surrounding area?

I keep trying to track him down so I can grab the vin, but he's always going the other way.

Just checked the d-base and I don't have any reported sightings in that area - I do however, have a note that you saw a green 99 vr4 in the Bedford/Burlington, MA area? (from 7/2004). Let me know.

If you are 100% sure it was a 99 VR-4 then stick with it and I will make a new entry for the car being "spotted" When, and if you meet him, tell him about the site, 3si, and that we'd love to have him join

Thanks,

Jon

I assumed it was a 99. all the body panels were right and it had stock exhaust.

It was also an older guy driving.

I was almost arrested becuase of that fucking Green 99 in bedford.
He worked on hansome AFB and had parked near a fence..
I was "lerking" near the fence to try and get more info when the fucking MPs came up.

I explained my story and laughed at me.
