Question odd electrical probelm in drivers door.

ok i have no power going to the door locks, windows, or speakers in that door. but the red light lights up behind the reflector. what doesn't make sense to me is that the speaker stopped working at the same time as the windows and door locks. how are they related?? if anyone has an electrical diagram of the door, radio/ speaker wires or anything i would appreciate a PM or a post. i have checked the fuses and they are all good, at least under the dash anyways. not sure about the fuses/relays under the hood. just wierd. and the speker is brand new (installed today) thats how i came across this anomaly.

Check the wiring and connector in door jam. You might need to replace whole thing.

Just like he said above check the connector in door jam...I had my window and door lock stop working on the drivers side and it ended up being 3 wires that go to that connector had broke.

I had a problem in my pax door like that before, found a couple of wires broken off near/under fuse box under the hood. I'm not sure which was which, but I just fixed all the broken wires I found and now the door locks/window all works. Hope it helps.

ok it pushed on the connector in the door jam and i got my windows back, but still no speaker or locks. i have a feeling i might need to take the connector apart and clean it.

I would check the plug into the door, I had mine come unclipped. Easy fix.
