3 1/2 hour drive for us somo3s people. count us in well at least 3 of the few we have here in the somo area

guys I went to Beale St. a couple weekends ago and let me just say, the car show is going to be INCREDIBLE! Having all our cars lined up down beale is going to be so amazing. It will be the best car show yet. There are a number of great restaurants to chow down at and beer stands on the side of the street selling "big ass beers" (about 28oz i think) for $4.

The phot opportunities alone will be a once in a lifetime event.

For those of you worried about your cars (I kinda was before going there) don't be. There aren't going to be a lot of drunk people messing with your car. For the most part the poeple on beale street are mid 20's up to baby boomer ages and seniors that can keep themselves under control. Our own people will probably be causing the most trouble

Not to mention the show will be in the daylight and we will have security.

As for bars, i recommend Coyote Ugly and Pat O'briens. Those are the two places I went and It was a lot of fun. Especially Coyote Ugly.

I wanna do my best to make it, I've got an R1 if not built Conquest then that I'd love to drive on track day!

Glad you got a chance to check it out, Marshall! And, more importantly, I'm glad you agree that it will be absolutely AMAZING next year!! I'm still so excited I can hardly stand it. I think at least a few times a week I mention that I can't wait for NG08! What a strange thing to hear me say... I was always the person who just went along for the ride... But this time, after being to Memphis, I absolutely cannot wait!

As for those photo ops... Don't forget - Keith (mobo) will be doing all the photography for us! It doesn't get much better than that, guys! We'll get the most incredible pictures ever!

This sounds awesome. I used to live in Memphis and know all of the spots you are talking about. BBQ at Gracelend is incredible. Never made it into Graceland (a little too tacky) but I'll go now. Car show on Beale, is just too cool. And on top of all this, night drags. Count me in.

I'm getting about 10 Grand done over at IPS motorsports and it will be done and broken in on the way down to memphis so your damn skippy this will be one hellof a turnout this year!
