The Saturday night banquet… Oh my gosh. I’m SOOOO excited!!! I can't possibly keep it a secret any longer! No trip to Memphis would be complete without it… It’s just the coolest banquet location I could find. Our banquet will consist of a BBQ meal, of course. I mean, when in Memphis, what else do you eat??? And let me tell you… What they say is true… Memphis has the best bbq ever. So of course that’s what we’ll be serving.

Whoops! I forgot to tell you what the location is… How’s GRACELAND?? Banquet tickets will be separate this year, but will include a tour of the mansion and grounds. For a little more you can upgrade to the auto museum (even *I* thought this was cool!), the airplanes, and the Sincerely Elvis and Elvis After Dark exhibits. For those who don’t want to eat or tour, they can come to Graceland just for the awards ceremony later in the evening. I promise you… Even if you’re not an Elvis fan or didn’t know him, Graceland is unbelievable. It’s well worth seeing and experiencing, and something I don’t think I’ll ever forget.

I know Sean said it's in a not-very-nice part of town, but it's really not bad. We think most of the cars (depending on attendance numbers) will fit in the secured, guarded employee lot. Even those that don't though, will be guarded by the security at the gate. Your cars WILL BE FINE or I wouldn't do this. I wish I could even begin to convey how excited I am about this location!

Oops... Forgot to tell you something else, kinda important.

Graceland closes at 5pm. Our banquet starts at 7pm. They stay open JUST FOR US, and for as late as we want to stay.

That means exactly what it sounds like... PRIVATE TOUR!!!! Elvis fans pay HUGE amounts of money to get semi-private tours, and for us it's all just part of the package.

Thanks, Mike! I'm thinking that would make people feel better!! Actually, no one should be worried about Graceland AT ALL. I never had any doubts while I was there, and we stay on the grounds (secured) except when being shuttled across the street to the mansion and back.

only 620 miles one way and 10+ hours of driving! but i need to make it to this NG since it will be my first and i have to meet you guys. actually be around ppl who share the same love for our cars (most the time )
thats quite a trip with my 93 tho, time to start saving.
