Ok, a few more details...

First, as fo right now we're starting a day earlier, but I can't release details on that since it's not completely firmed up yet. HOWEVER... I can say this. Wednesday will be one of the days that we'll be doing photographs of the cars... It was alluded to in another thread... Keith (Mobo) will be our official photographer this year. We'll offer photo packages and all sorts of goodies that I can't divulge yet as far as the photography goes. Let's just say that anything you want from Cafe Press will be available with your car on it, as well as commemorative photographs of every car. That's about all I can tell you about that YET, but Wednesday could be a day for something else VERY COOL if it all works out. Two somethings, actually. Jack - Pink Palace is one of the potential backdrops for the photo shoots. That'll be left up to Keith, although I did find a REALLY nice spot, too.

The track... Yes, it's MMP. I'm VERY excited to announce that. The track is absolutely wonderful. Also, they supply many of the workers, so we don't have to obtain as many volunteers, including coordinators. Their professional staff actually coordinates our drag races and our road course as part of our contract with them. Oh... And drag races... You wanted it, you've got it. NIGHT-TIME DRAGS!

I feel like I'm forgetting something... Y'all will let me know if I am.

That's one of the few questions I can answer about the photography. As long as you're both registered participants, ABSOLUTELY. My understanding, and Keith can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong (Peggy is working on the contract with him so I'm going by what I remember her saying), is that Keith will shoot 12-25 photos of every car at every event, as well as at all photoshoot locations. If your vehicles are registered (which they'd have to be for you to attend), then you're in on photos.

For those who aren't familiar with Keith's work, please check it out... I'm sure Alan can post up a link, or you can look at the Modified Mag threads - his car AND his photography are featured in October's Modified Mag. He's an absolutely amazing photographer, and this is an amazing opportunity to have your cars photographed by him. Also, my understanding is that photographs and all merchandise that uses them will be available for two years.
