While I will use the Dyno to tune and may post the results.
I will be backing up the numbers at the track.
And soon Concord NC will have it's own 1/4!!!!!

Fuck that is going to ROCK!

It's 10 minutes from my house and work!

Yeah, I think she will hold well. Not set on the turbo's yet. I want bigger than EVOIII but it is a street car complete with power steering, A/C and heat so I don't want it to be too laggy.

No NG for us. Not sure if anyone from 3SX is going. I know I am not and I am pretty sure Matt isn't.

So this is going to be a Chris Hill project car and not a 3sx car? You know, the funny thing is a low-dollar project car will probably bring more business at this point than a higher budget race car. At least that will give customers a more reasonable expectation of what they can achieve.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. If you really want to find the limits of a two bolt motor, wouldn't that require actually pushing the motor until you blow it up? In reality, you would probably need to blow up quite a few motors in order to get any reliable data out of it. In any case, I agree with what a lot of the others are saying - the two bolt block seems to be plenty strong for what most people will throw at it.

well good...at least he said "FULL OUT RACE CARS". we all know t2 isn't anywhere close to a full out race car. it's got full interior, etc.

so that means chris will race it again, right?

Matt..if the 2 bolt 6G72 developes crank walk at 900+hp it still wouldn't effect 99.9% of the upgrade happy 2 bolt TT owners; most of which have cars between 350hp and 700hp. It is a moot point/project. These engines have been pretty much proven already man..the proof is in the pudding.

Side Note: I am willing to bet that a bunch of people start panicking thinking that the 2 bolt is weak and all of a sudden more failure prone now then before Chris made this thread Way to fucking go....

actually, i'm convinced now more than ever about the 2-bolt being strong enough. it was john M. who first made me think otherwise.

So what is Steve going to do with the T2 and T4? Dismantle and sell the parts? Sell them whole? Put them in a garage together, put on some Barry White, and hope that they mate?
