You guys are pissing me off Were the were you all in 2000???
I dropped at least $8000 converting my car to 4-bolt because all the geniuses on 3SI told me 2-bolts were junk. Everyone on 3SI told me the following was God's truth: 1) Matt Money is a miracle worker who can do things nobody else can 2) XWING is a miracle worker who can do things nobody else can 3) Everyone else with 2-bolt mains was one of the following: 1. lucky, 2 Posers who never race thier more than once or twice or 3. Rich bastards that would race thier cars, blow thier engines and buy another one. I wouldn't call Matt or Xwings cars budget cars BUT 3S part cost at least 1/2 as much as they did back then. I tried to find the old threads and I couldn't they were either lost or on starnet insrtead of 3si P.S. Chris I hope your current position at 3SX is working for you. I always got the impression 3SX's race program was on such a tight budget that it was in danger of being over as soon as 3SX proved themselves. Maybe if you hadn't have been so sucessfull you will still have that job ![]()

As for "done before" Most of the "done before" were not done this cheaply or on this many used parts nor has anyone seen how far I am pushing it yet. I was able to run the 3.0 to 995AWHP and the 3.1 to 159MPH. Now I will push the 2 bolt to it's limit and see what happens. On a tight budget. I will be surprised if I have $5K out of pocket when I am done ![]()

back in 2k i was here but even if i saw the post nobody would have listened to me anyways. i have always been in the school of 2 bolt is more than strong enough for 99.9981% of ppl. just look at the V8 camp. 2 bolts are pretty damn strong (no not as strong as 4 bolts) but with our main bearing girdle design id be willing to bet a 2 bolt 350 would be damn strong compared to what they are now. |

Someone fill me in on Hillbillies car. What did it prove? I saw it run at the track a couple times and put down some good dyno numbers but now it has crankwalk. Did we determine that high HP 2bolts get crankwalk?
