I did, I ran a best of 10.88@129.1mph with NOS, and 10.95@129.9mph with OUT NOS.... At those levels shoving trying to shove anything more threw a TD-04 Exhaust housing was kind of pointless. It was also in the days before good aftermarket ignitions that were designed to work with 3 coils, spark blow out on the NOS was a problem.

Ya that was with 368's, heads, street cams, cam gears, FMIC ect...

Running 10's with TD-04's is NOT easy...

I would not be surprised if your car could run 10's if you drive the piss out of it. 19T's can support more HP then 368's can. You have stage 3 heads and street cams. Your car may be able to do it on your pump gas setting if you cut a good 60ft. I never dynoed that 368 car but I bet it was in the 520-530whp range when it ran that 10.95. Let not forget it was at altitude.

they had street cams back then? I thought if you wanted cams back then you had to have them made out of billet and wasnt cheap.

That car had the 1st set of my DR street grinds, that set of cams ened up in Justin's car and are still in there today

At the time is was the only set of non stock cams in a 3/s car that I know of.

The 2nd set went into Terry B's gt-368 car that we built for him... That also ran 129.9 mph in the 1/4 mile with him driving (but a 11.2 i think)

I think the 129.9 Both Terry B and I ran with GT-368's and heads/cams hold the TD-04 trap records.

With out cams all the other GT-368 cars I built ran in the 125-126mph range.

I think a 19T car with heads/cams the the right other supporting mods (and driver) should be able to beat that slightly.

Running those kind of traps takes a lot with TD-04’s, Both Terry’s and my cars took Built 3.1L motors, Heads, cams, cam gears, FMIC, ect ect to run those traps with GT-368’s. Then look at my DR-800 car, with a stock Shortblock, Stock cams, Stock cam gears, Side mount IC’s, ran 134mph
